How to Choose the Right Cabin in Pennsylvania

There's no right way to answer this, but as someone who travels fairly frequently, I can let you in on my secrets. First, decide what the purpose of the trip is. Are you going to explore the towns and eat your way through every restaurant? Then you'll likely benefit from staying inside town. If you're looking to get away from it all, then a more secluded stay is the way to go.

For me, I'm always going to opt for a cabin with a view. I live in a major city, so my getaways are often nature-inspired. I would rather a 10-20-minute drive into town to get groceries if it means I can wake up to a beautiful view. If you've big plans to explore some of Pennsylvania's state parks and extensive hiking trails, then you'll want to pick a spot close to where you'll be spending your days.

Everyone is different, but it's important to remember why you're going. Nothing will take the wind out of your sails faster than realizing you've booked a place that's inconvenient to the reason you're getting away.
