Reedsport is a small town with a small town vibe. It has a little bit of everything, but not too much of anything.
This town is on the banks of Umpqua River and is very close to the Pacific Coast. Whether you like rivers or the ocean or both, you'll have access to plenty of serene and beautiful water.
Tourists come to Reedsport to enjoy Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. This is the largest expanse of coastal dunes in North America, and some of them rise above the landscape to heights of nearly 500 feet.
You can marvel at this natural wonder and hike amongst the dunes. The dunes provide a buffer between the town and the ocean, so when you walk along the shore, you'll feel like you're a million miles from everything.
Have you ever driven a dune buggy? Doing so is a fun activity that's popular in Reedsport. There are plenty of places to rent one if you'd like to try.

When you get hungry, you might grab a meal at one of the most popular and best-rated spots in town - The Harbor Light Restaurant . It has some of the best food in town!
Afterward, you should stop into Leona's Sugar Shack Bakery for dessert. You might as well grab some breakfast pastries for tomorrow while you're there, too.
