When the kids are bored and you need a bit of fresh air, head to Riverside Park in Grants Pass. You can spend the day playing on the playground, splashing at the spray park, and enjoying all the green space. Check it out!
Welcome to Riverside Park! There are actually two parks by that name here in Oregon; this is the one in Grants Pass.
You'll find the other Riverside Park in Clackamas, and it's a great place to visit, too.
The park is located right on the banks of the Rogue River, and it's an absolutely beautiful place to spend the day. Say hello to the ducks and geese by the river...
...then head over to the playground to let the kids burn off some energy. The playground is surrounded by tall trees, and also has some special playground trees that are perfect for climbing.
Your kids will find plenty of spots for imaginative play, too!
When the weather is hot, cool down over at the spray park.
Make sure to have some swim diapers for the little ones, and stay close to supervise children ages 12 and younger.
There's plenty of green space in this large park! Play a game of disc golf, and enjoy concerts and other events that take place here over summer months.
There are plenty of tables and places to enjoy a picnic lunch. For a larger group, you can also reserve this beautiful Riverside Pavilion, as well as the Centennial Gazebo, and large Trevillian Pavilion.
Visit Riverside Park from 6 a.m. til dark. Restrooms are locked between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.
To learn more about this park or reserve a pavilion visit its website. What's your favorite park in Oregon? We'd love to see your comments!
