Chocolate lovers, rejoice! The Oregon Chocolate Festival is right around the corner, and it’s gonna make your sweet tooth oh so happy. The West Coast’s best chocolatiers will be there to present their finest offerings – will you be there, too?
Get ready for the 15th Annual Oregon Chocolate Festival. Because this festival just keeps growing, it will be held at the Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites again this year.
The hotel is located at 2525 Ashland St., Ashland, OR 97520.
This year's festival is bound to be a palate-pleasing event for everyone who attends. Dozens of talented chocolatiers will be on hand to show you their delicious delicacies and compete for prizes.
Of course, there will be plenty of chocolate everywhere you look. Sample the goodies, and take home chocolate gifts for loved ones. And, let's be honest - you'll tear into half of this stuff before you even get home, so make sure to get plenty for yourself, too.
Kick off the festival Friday, March 8th at the Chocolate Maker's Wine Dinner, where you'll enjoy a four-course meal with chocolate as an ingredient in each course. The following morning, sit down at the Chocolate Sunday Brunch for chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate muffins, and more.
On March 10th, put on your favorite Charlie and the Chocolate Factory costume and head to Emigrant Lake Recreation Area for the 5k-10k Charlie's Chocolate Run and 1 mile run/walk dash. Prizes for top finishers and best costume, and chocolate treats for everyone who finishes the races. The more calories you plan on burning off, the more chocolate you can eat!
After Charlie's Chocolate Race, you'll want to catch the Chocolate Dessert Competition, where top chefs from around the state compete to see who can create the most beautiful, decadent chocolate dessert.
