We'll take a locally-owned restaurant over a chain any day of the week, and this place is owned by a great family.
Fiesta El Botanero is a tiny little restaurant, and it's not very fancy, but the service is very friendly, and the'll make you feel right at home. If you're lucky, you'll enjoy a futbol game on the television while you eat.
The food here is legit, and served up in reasonably large portions. You'll also want to try a house margarita - they're the perfect blend of tart and sweet.
Start with a basket of complimentary chips and a bowl of delicious salsa. They're both made fresh, in-house, and the salsa is chock-full of fresh veggies with just the right amount of heat.
Dinner here is great, but the lunch specials are a bargain. For just $10, you'll get a plate full of tasty food and a soda.
Lunch special choices include a burrito, enchilada, two tacos, tostada, chile relleno, and more. It's served with rice and beans.
Stop by Fiesta El Botanero six days a week. It's open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday until 8:30 p.m.
