The Swimming Spot In Oklahoma You Must Visit Before Summer’s Over
We may be halfway through August, but the hot summer weather isn’t going to let up anytime soon. With temperatures in the 90s, it’s time to head for a nice, cool swimming hole.
Turner Falls Park is the perfect combination of wilderness and a developed recreation area. It's surrounded by natural beauty, but offers plenty of amenities, too.
The park is located at I-35 and Highway 77 in Davis, Oklahoma.
This isn't your typical swimming pool! The 77-foot waterfall cascades into a natural pool.
The water is clean, clear and cool.
The Blue Hole Pool area has a waterslide and diving board to keep you entertained. Find a shady spot on the bank to relax and enjoy a picnic.
You'll also find plenty of places to wade and swim in the creek.
Turner Falls Park is fun for the whole family! You'll pay an admission price of $12 for adults 13 and older; $6 for kids ages 6-12; children 5 and younger are free.
