This Jaw Dropping Footage Of An Oklahoma Tornado Will Blow Your Mind

Everyone in Oklahoma knows May is the month to watch out for tornado outbreaks, but no one expected the intensity of the tornadoes that developed in south-central Oklahoma on May 9, 2016. A violent, long-track elephant trunk tornado ripped through the Katie-Wynnewood area producing an EF4 tornado that left destruction in its wake and one fatality.

Storm chasers were in the area looking to capture footage if a funnel developed. Take a look at the close encounter that was caught on film:
