Another interesting cemetery to visit is in the little town of Hugo – Showmen’s Rest – a circus-themed cemetery dedicated to circus animals and performers. It’s a small section within Mount Olivet Cemetery filled with animal themed pedestals and gravesites. The town of Hugo was once known as “Circus City, USA” and is now the final resting place for many circus folks.
