There’s No Highway In The World Like This One In Oklahoma

There are a lot of things that make Oklahoma unique. From our topography to our quirky attractions to the shape of our state, there are some things you just can’t find anywhere else. One such place is Sidewalk Highway – an old portion of Route 66 in Ottawa County that is only 9 feet wide.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Another fun road to drive on in Oklahoma is “Roller Coaster Road” just north of Wewoka.
