Van’s Pig Stands has been around since 1930, making it the oldest continuously owned and operated family run BBQ restaurant in Oklahoma.

What started as a humble little store inside of a hotel has grown into multiple locations around the state with a massive fan base. People travel from all over just to feast on their incredible BBQ.

Tennessee transplant Leroy "Van" Vandegrift opened the first Pig Stand in a hotel in Wewoka, Oklahoma around 1928.

This humble little BBQ joint served ribs and a variety of sandwiches. It was here that the iconic Pig Sandwich was born. They soon became quite popular, and it allowed for many other Pig Stands to open up around Oklahoma. Today, there are five restaurants around the state.
