Oklahoma is famous for wild and crazy storms – but it’s usually tornadoes that get all the attention. However, this Oklahoma City hail storm in 2010 ranks as one of the worst hail storms in Oklahoma history. The storm produced up to baseball-size hail and damaged thousands of automobiles, trees and vegetation. It also produced hail drifts up to several feet deep, that stayed on the ground for up to 12 hours in some parts of central Oklahoma.
