Visiting Oklahoma’s Upcoming Balloon Festival In Poteau Is A Great Fall Activity

The Poteau Balloon Fest is a family-friendly fall festival featuring hot air balloons, carnival rides, and various activities in Poteau, Oklahoma.

The Poteau Balloon Fest is a fun fall activity that you'll want to attend in mid-October. It's a two-day festival filled with hot air balloons, carnival rides, races, food, craft booths, and more. The backdrop of the event is the rolling hills of Poteau, filled with all the colors of autumn, and it's quite spectacular.

The 2022 Poteau Balloon Fest will take place October 14-15 at the LeFlore County Fairgrounds.

The festival is family-friendly so be sure and bring the whole crew. The price of admission is $5 per person plus $5 for parking that is close to the event. Or, there is free parking and a free shuttle service at the CASC.

Poteau in the Fall is such a stunning place to be. The nearby hills are filled with hues of orange, red, and yellow and the fresh crisp air is so refreshing.

The two-day festival includes carnival rides, a pet show, helicopter rides, vendor booths, games, and more. You can purchase a wristband for $25 per person and enjoy unlimited rides during the event.

At dusk on both nights, there will be balloon glows that light up the sky and it's quite magical.

You can also take a tethered balloon ride for $20 per person and get a feel for what it's like to be in a hot air balloon...but in a much safer way. These rides take place around 6:45-7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.

On Friday there will be two BMX shows and other performances throughout the day on both days. You don't want to miss this fun Fall festival in Oklahoma!
