The first thing you notice as you step on the grounds is how "life-like" everything is. The playground is a project of the Annie Oakley Society who's mission is teach the rich history of the American West for generations to come.
As you walk around the entire property, some of the most fun is getting to actually step into the different buildings.
With so many sights to see, you will want to come early and stay late, just to make sure you get to take it all in.
The daily shows are always a crowd favorite. They are a perfect way to enjoy lunch and be entertained and educated at the same time.
Learning can and should be fun and when you're here it is. There truly is something for everyone here. There is over 100,000 square feet dedicated to learning and fun, so this is no ordinary playground.
Each building was built to scale and was created to model very closely the actual edifices they represent.
As you enter the teepee you will feel like you have stepped back in time hundreds of years, to a simpler time. It's quite an experience we think you'll want to see for yourself.
