This Charming Small Town In Oklahoma Might Actually Be Cursed

Weleetka, Oklahoma, a small town, has experienced multiple tragedies leading residents to believe it might be cursed.

The Sooner State is full of charming small towns where life is seemingly safe, the streets are quiet and wide open spaces are bountiful. But that might be a different story in the small town of Weleetka, Oklahoma - a small-knit community of less than 1,000 residents. One tragedy after another has struck Weleetka and now the residents are beginning to wonder if their town is cursed.

After four tragedies swept through this little town in just a few short years, residents think the town is cursed and want the bad luck broken.

In 2008, two young girls were murdered walking home on a rural road in town. It was a horrific crime that wasn't solved until several years after their deaths.

Then downtown suffered a major fire; taking out several businesses, including a popular cafe.

Next, a tank exploded in 2010 taking the life of a youth pastor...a beloved member of this small community.

Then a house fire killed six people a few months later; four of which were children.

Many residents have moved out of town due to the tragedies. They say the town is just not the same and the economy has taken a downturn. People don't congregate and socialize around town like they use to.

But those who can't afford to move or want to stay in their hometown say the curse on Weleetka must be broken.

It's scary to think the town actually might be cursed. What do you think? Is the town cursed or just the recipient of a series of bad events?
