Gathering Place In Oklahoma Is Open On Christmas Day

Not a lot of places are open on Christmas Day which is why it caught our attention when Gathering Place announced their Winterland Wonderland event is open on Christmas Day from 6:00-9:00 p.m. So, after you’ve opened Christmas presents, eaten Christmas dinner, and the whole family is looking for something to do, head to Tulsa to Winter Wonderland at Gathering Place, a magical Christmas celebration filled with festive festivities the whole family will enjoy.

Winter Wonderland at Gathering Place dates include December 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, and 25 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

This park is decorated with thousands of twinkling lights and provides a beautiful backdrop for a walk around the park.

The ONEOK Boathouse is one of the designated photo-op spots with festive decor and luminous winter characters.

Inside Williams Lodge is a spectacular Christmas tree with a lovely gathering place with a fireplace. It's a cozy spot indoors if you're cold outside. And, the holiday music makes for a cheery place.

The Chapman Adventure Playground is also decorated with lights and decor and is a magical place for kids to explore.

You'll also find carolers in this area spreading holiday cheer.

Santa also puts on a circus show and he takes free pictures with guests.

If you're lucky enough to have it snow during your visit, this is one of the most magical winter wonderlands you could possibly ask for in Oklahoma.
