For a little taste of European cuisine, head to Creperie & European Cafe in Midwest City for the best crepes in Oklahoma. This small cafe is easy to miss on the outside, but inside serves up unique and heavenly crepes.
Creperie & European Cafe opened for business over 5 years ago at 2839 S Douglas Blvd (Ste 113) in Midwest City. It's a corner business in a strip mall with easy access and front row parking.
The restaurant is family-friendly with a play section for the little ones. Be prepared that sometimes it's so busy you'll have to wait for a table.
They have many options on the menu, including crepes, soups, salads, sandwiches, and Shepherd's Pie.
In case you didn't know, crepes are very thin pancakes filled with anything sweet or savory, then folded over to hold it all inside.
Breakfast crepes can be filled with cheese, bacon, ham, potatoes, mushrooms, onions, and more.
But my favorite is the sweet crepe. You can't go wrong with fresh strawberries, Nutella, and whipped cream.
Other sweet crepe flavors include Peanut Butter & Jelly, Nutella & Banana, and S'mores with chocolate syrup drizzled on top.
And customers rave about the homemade soups. Flavors rotate daily, so there's always something new to try. Visit Creperie & European Cafe Monday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 2 :00 p.m.
