Folklore Predicts A Full Blue Moon Over Ohio This Halloween Because 2020 Wasn’t Strange Enough
In case 2020 wasn’t strange enough, there’s a full moon rising over Ohio this Halloween. Even stranger? The full moon we’ll experience this Halloween will also be a unique phenomenon called a Blue Moon—but it likely won’t actually be blue in color. Here’s what you can expect to see hovering over Ohio this weekend:
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. It's not super rare, but it doesn't happen often.

(However, keep in mind that it's 2020. Anything can happen.)

The first full moon of this month occurred on October 1 -2, making this next one a Blue Moon.

Blue Moons also occur as the third of four full moons in a single season, which means this type of seasonal Blue Moon will occur on August 22, 2021.
