There’s nothing like a home-cooked meal. Warm, decadent, and rich, homestyle cooking is like an embrace for your taste buds. If there’s one thing Midwesterners know, it’s comfort foods. Though Ohio is the extreme edge of the Midwest, we love friendliness and comfort foods. Such pleasantries are effortlessly combined at Amish restaurants, and there’s nothing quite like an all-you-can-eat approach to delicious cooking.
Located at 1210 Winesburg St. in Wilmot, this fascinating destination is well worth the trip from The Land. At this iconic and cute cluster of buildings, one can dine, stock up on bakery items, visit a market and gift shop, and even stay for the night.

Cheeses, meats, baked goodies, and other heavenly goodies tempt the palate. Right alongside these delicacies are all sorts of collectible treasures and sturdy furniture.
This little one-stop destination actually grew around the success of the Amish Door Restaurant. Here, homemade bread, creamy mashed potatoes, and even roast beef are made in a way that's incomparable to anything close to Cleveland. This restaurant first entertained visitors in 1977, and many have continually returned ever since.

This enchanting restaurant is lovely in every season, but in the colder months, visitors can't get enough of their buffet.
Stop in for a lunch buffet Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., or get dinner those same days from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays that fall on Mondays, the dinner buffet is offered from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Each Monday through Saturday between 7 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., the best parts of breakfast are offered in one place. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and bacon, and even pancakes are offered in abundance.
If you overeat and don't want to drive home, there's no shame in taking a little siesta at the on-site inn.
