This chocolate shop in Cincinnati has been based out of Hamilton with a retail shop there, but they are now opening a cafe-style spot in Oakley. Now that this delicious destination will be in the heart of Cincinnati, you have no reason not to visit and give it a try.

Ruby's Chocolates is a chocolate shop in Cincinnati that is a family affair and has a wonderful story.

Founder Melinda Mueller chose to follow a dream and a passion, and through many ups and downs has established a successful chocolate business in the Tristate. Her sons work with her now and they are about to open a shop in the heart of the city in Oakley.

Ruby's is currently based out of Hamilton where you'll find its warehouse and original retail shop.

Ruby's is known for its beautiful creations that taste as good as they look. You can order these truffle cakes and other treats from the shop's website, at its Hamilton store, and soon from the new location in Oakley.

The Truffle Cakes, like the Birthday Cake option, shown above, are a signature item and a must-try.

Moist cake is covered with your choice of white, milk, or dark chocolate and then topped in a variety of ways. Ruby's also serves Joysticks, the pretzels shown above that are covered in chocolate and caramel and drizzled with more chocolate, candies, and nuts.

If your mouth isn't watering yet, keep in mind they also make some of the best buckeyes you'll ever try.

No surprise, but they have a variety of flavors of buckeyes and if you love this Ohio favorite, you simply must try them from Ruby's. They also do a wonderful job with custom orders, like the creation shown in the photo above.

Chocolate becomes a work of art at Ruby's and the creativity is impressive.

Not only do these confections look amazing, but they taste even better. You may have seen Ruby's at local events or at a local gathering, but they will now be easier than ever to enjoy.
