The Esquire Theatre in Clifton is a beloved movie theater in Cincinnati that has been through so much, including almost being turned into a Wendy’s Restaurant. This popular movie-watching destination is now standing strong and is poised to continue through its second century of business.
There may not be another movie theater in Cincinnati that is loved in the way that locals love The Esquire. It’s not only unique and historic, but it has set the tone for the character of the Gaslight District in Clifton and is proof that the resident underdogs can, indeed, come out on top.
