Ohio’s Chinese Lantern Festival Will Mesmerize You In The Best Way Possible
This time of year brings about extraordinary festivals in the great state of Ohio. From Christmas tree lighting ceremonies, to holiday parades and decorated Main Streets, there’s no shortage of seasonal cheer. And there’s one festival in particular that seems to transcend the expected in the best way possible: the Chinese Lantern Festival.
The opportunity to see this gorgeous display of lights in Columbus is an experience equal parts mesmerizing and intriguing. In Chinese culture, these lanterns traditionally represent prosperity and have been used for nearly 2,000 years in various celebrations. You’ll find that Ohio’s display of lights carries this tradition beautifully.
