A cheese lover's dream come true, this charming store and factory sits in the heart of Ohio Amish Country. This family-owned country store is hiding some of the most delicious cheese in the state. From Swiss to Marble, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose here. As an added bonus, you can get some amazing smoked sausage, beef jerky, Trail Bologna, and more. You'll find it at 55 Kidron Rd. in Orville, Ohio.
What was once a working dairy farm is now a truly epic cheese barn right off of Interstate 71. It's a family-owned, charming store, gift shop and eatery the whole family will love. Since 1978, Grandpa Baum (and Grandma Baum) have been serving up exceptional cheese and other goodies along with their family at this iconic stop. End your trip with an epic grilled cheese dinner. This wonderful gourmet grilled cheese restaurant has been serving up exceptional grilled cheese creations and craft beers for more than 10 years now. It is difficult to determine where you can find the best cheese in Ohio. There are several Ohio cheese shops and even restaurants that cheese lovers will appreciate. If you’re looking for Swiss cheese, you can’t go wrong with a trip to Ohio Amish Country, particularly the town of Sugarcreek. If you enjoy a hearty helping of the classic macaroni and cheese dish, you’ll definitely want to visit The Mac Shack in Cincinnati and Mad Mac’s in Lakewood. Both restaurants serve multiple different kinds of macaroni and cheese dishes, each featuring different types and combinations of cheeses.

One of the largest cheese shops in Ohio is Cheese Haven in Port Clinton.
