This Century-Old Bank Vault In Ohio Is Now An Amazing Place To Eat And Drink
Ohio is full of several historic and unique places to eat. (Be sure to check out
this historic restaurant and this train depot restaurant.)
Did you know you can dine and drink inside some century-old bank vaults beneath the Cleveland Trust Rotunda? Most people don’t. Vault is an upscale cocktail lounge that makes you feel as if you’re temporarily stepping back in time. The next time you’re in the Cleveland area, you’ll want to take some time to check it out.
What was once a series of massive bank vaults is now a stunning place to eat and drink.
You'll find it at The 9 - Level B1, 2017 E. 9th Street, Cleveland, OH 44115.
With an unforgettable ambience and Old World decor, there's no other cocktail lounge in Ohio quite like Vault.
You can visit Vault on Tuesday - Thursday from 4 p.m. - 12 a.m. and Friday - Saturday from 4 p.m. - 2 a.m.
The signature, hand-crafted cocktails alone are worth a visit. Pictured is the Red Headed Rye.

The food menu is just as divine. Pictured are the Porchetta Petites, which feature local pork, gremolata aioli, celery leaf, pecorino romano and a warm baguette.
With bold flavors and creative combinations, everything on the menu is like a little piece of art.
Pro tip: Try the Flatbread. It features French brie, duck prosciutto, basil, figs, honey ale onions and balsamic.
