1. End of the Commons General Store (Mesopotamia)
Ohio's oldest general store appropriately sits in the heart of Amish country. You'll find this truly charming general store at the center of Mesopotamia Township, the fourth largest Amish settlement in the country and the second largest settlement in Ohio. 2. Walnut Creek Cheese (Berlin and Walnut Creek)
This massive fresh food market features delicious meats and cheeses, bakery items, produce and much more. It's a must-stop before you leave Ohio Amish Country. Walnut Creek Cheese is located at 2641 State Route 39, Walnut Creek, OH 44687 and 4727 US 62, Berlin, OH 44610.
3. Country Fabrics (Shiloh)
What was once the Bachrach Cattle Barn is now a massive store that features the largest selections of fabric, quilts, sewing supplies and quilting supplies in all of Ohio. With rows and rows of fabric and quilting supplies, the possibilities at Country Fabrics are endless. You'll find it at 6142 Ganges-Five Points Rd., Shiloh, OH 44878.
4. Lehman's Hardware (Dalton)
This unique hardware store specializes in antique style appliances, retro home furnishings, non-electric kitchenware, old-time toys and a lot more items that will take you back to yesteryear. It is located at 4779 Kidron Rd., Dalton, OH 44618.
5. Kauffman’s Country Bakery (Millersburg)
Inside, you'll be mesmerized by all the sweets...and the smell of what's cooking will make you want to stay awhile. The real star of the show here, however, is definitely the Fry Pies. You'll find a wide variety of flavors, so choose as many as you'd like. Kauffman’s Country Bakery is located at 6013 County Rd. 77, Millersburg, OH 44654.
6. Walnut Creek Amish Flea Market (Sugarcreek)
You'll find a little bit of everything here. Some of the most popular items here are the crafts and primitive decor. There's a large selection that likely has more than your local craft store. Walnut Creek Amish Flea Market is located at 1900 Ohio 39, Sugarcreek, OH 44681.
7. Tis The Season Christmas Shoppe (Millersburg)
While there are several shops throughout the state that sell plenty of beautiful Christmas items, there’s one shop in particular that’s all things Christmas, all the time. Tis The Season Christmas Shoppe in Millersburg is Ohio’s largest year-round Christmas store—and it’s truly magical. You'll find it at 4363 State Route 39, Millersburg, OH 44654.
8. Homestead Furniture (Mt Hope)
With one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted items, special events and an unforgettable setting, Homestead Furniture in Mt Hope, Ohio is a truly special furniture store you’ll love to explore. You can even tour the 40,000 square-foot factory and watch the Amish craft custom furniture right in front of you. Homestead Furniture is located at 8233 State Route 241, Mt Hope, OH 44660.
9. Hershberger’s Farm and Bakery (Millersburg)
This lovely Millersburg farm and bakery is the perfect day trip destination or stop when you're exploring Ohio's Amish Country. The heartwarming setting itself is enough to make you stop and stay while. But it's the goodies inside that make it really worth the trip. (The fry pies and the cinnamon rolls are simply irresistible.) You'll find it at 5452 State Route 557, Millersburg, Ohio 44654.
10. Shisler's Cheese House (Orrville)
This family-owned country store is hiding some of the most delicious cheese in the state. From Swiss to Marble, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose here. As an added bonus, you can get some amazing smoked sausage, beef jerky, Trail Bologna, and more. You'll find it at 55 Kidron Rd. in Orville, Ohio.
