Hiding out in the city of Antioch is a historic landmark that is home to an amazing little restaurant. The Red Caboose has been a staple in the community for decades, and a meal in this charming railcar is bound to be one that you remember.
The restaurant was originally a bar called The Ramp. It initially opened back in 1969, but it became The Red Caboose when the owner bought his wife an authentic railcar and attached it to the building in 1983.
Boasting one of the most unique dining atmospheres in town, The Red Caboose is definitely a local favorite. You'll usually see a few people enjoying some drinks on the patio, or huddled around the big screen televisions in the dining room.
The menu consists of a variety of classic American comfort food. Known for their hearty burgers, sandwiches, and steaks. There's something to please everyone, no matter what you're in the mood for.
