You’ll Never Forget Your Visit To The Most Haunted Bar In North Dakota

North Dakota is one of those states that’s just ridiculously haunted – if you’re into that kind of thing, anyway. It’s like no matter where you go, you’re bound to find at least one or two places at least said to be haunted. Well, some places seem to be more haunted than others – and some places seem to be the most haunted. In our case, the most haunted bar in North Dakota – which just so happens to be an old-school speakeasy – is one that comes up again and again, and deservedly so. Saul’s Speakeasy is in Minot, and it’s a place where only the daring trek to have a drink among the deceased.

The restaurant and bar opened in 2018, but the building it occupies - or should we say, hides under - is quite a bit older.

It, much like an old-school speakeasy, is entirely underground. There are no windows, and you can't see it from the street. That's the whole point; it requires a password to get in, most times, that you can get by texting 701-401-2105.

What we're here to discuss is the ghost. See, Saul's is said by many to be haunted by the ghost of Saul Shark himself. The good news is that he's not aggressive by any means; Saul is said to be friendly, and really enjoys beer (same, dude).

Glasses, chairs, and other objects tend to occasionally move around on their own. There are cold spots, strange chills, unexplained noises, and more.

The place wouldn't be the same without him - or at least the legend of him. Saul's Speakeasy made the official Food Network blog's coveted place as the "most haunted" restaurant bar in North Dakota. It's known less for its food (which is excellent) than for its drinks (which are to die for), and less for its drinks than for its ghost!

What's the worst that could happen? Probably nothing - in which case, no big deal; you spent the entire evening at an awesome local speakeasy. Best case, you enjoy excellent drinks with a "paranormal" chaser. No matter what, you'll love it.
