Hop on North Dakota's only operating trolley train to Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park and you'll be in for a day full of fun. This trolley departs from Third Street Station in Mandan, North Dakota.

The trolley ride is nine miles long and will take you on a lovely journey through the surroundings of the park and to the fun activities that await you at Fort Lincoln.

The On-A-Slant Village is also worth a look while visiting. Located next to the Missouri River, these reconstructed earth lodges used to be found in the hundreds across the prairie but there are now just the remnants. They show what it was like in these villages back in the day and preserve their history.

The trolley into the park is located at the Third Street SE Station in Mandan and runs each day through summer on the hour from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Round trip tickets cost $9 for all ages.
