These 15 Vintage Photos Of North Carolina Will Take You Back In Time
Ah, the ‘good old days.’ Everything seemed simple, no technology to muddle social interaction, with tried and true ways of living. Of course, only a photo (sorry guys, no time machines yet) can provide that frozen-in-time essence so clear, you feel like you can hear the music, smell the smells, know the people, and perhaps are standing right there.
Here are fifteen of my favorite vintage photos that show the vibrant past history of North Carolina.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

For more vintage feels, the State Archives of North Carolina Flickr page has some amazing albums, which is where I found these images. Thank you to The Raleigh News and Observer for allowing me permission to use some of their images as well.
With so many cool photos, I’ll have to do a second post. For now, which were your favorites? Got any cool ones of your own you’d like to see shared? Tell me in the comments!
