Part of Chimney Rock State Park, Hickory Nut falls a total of 404-feet against a towering rock wall. If you want to actually walk behind a waterfall, this one-mile hike is perfect. The trail to Moore Cove Falls is short, sweet, and filled with beautiful sights along the short distance to the main attraction. The trail begins along US-276 near Brevard and follows the road for a short distance before crossing a creek. Everything is paved and well-marked, and before you know it, you'll have arrived at Moore Cove Falls!
