We’re so very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place filled with adventure and intrigue – and so much beauty. Whether on the coast, in the mountains, or any place in between, you’re bound to find it all right here at home in North Carolina. When it comes to hiking with the kids, you can’t always set your goals for tackling the most difficult hikes around (like the Profile Trail at Grandfather Mountain). So, here’s a short 1.2-mile hike that’s perfect for the entire family. The kids will love it!
Moore Cove Falls is accessible year-round. If you make the trek in the snow or icy conditions, then please be extra cautious! The trailhead is located on US-276 just outside of Brevard.
