With clean amenities, rooms, and yes, available wifi, there's a touch of old and a touch of new in this hidden retro gem. This 55-year old "retro palace" recently celebrated a re-opening with new renovations for this classic motor lodge.
Even the main lobby cranks the 50s and 60s vibes to high gear adorning vinyls throughout. While the motel is cozy and cool, it's also in a prime location. Known as the "Land of Waterfalls," you're in close proximity to everything Transylvania County has to offer including mountain biking, fishing, rock climbing and hiking.
But back to the amenities. Choose from updated, groovy rooms or even an entire cabin...there are plenty of options here for resting your head in a different decade. "The Cabin" is located on a wooded acre and comes with a "resident groundhog" included. Sleeping five, it's perfect for a friends getaway including a wraparound porch and full kitchen.
