This Magical Waterfall Campground In North Carolina Is Unforgettable
Camping in North Carolina is pretty incredible…but throw in a waterfall and you’ve got an unforgettable camping experience. You’ve still got time to visit Mount Pisgah Campground before summer is over. Here are some details (and photos) that will make you want to pack your tent, fill your cooler with ice and beverages and head to this little camping spot.

It’s across the road from the Mount Pisgah Inn, at milepost 408.6. The campground is typically open from May to October.

It offers cool temperatures, plenty of shade, restrooms and showers.

You can stop by just for the day and use one of the 50 picnic sites, too.

The 60-foot falls are gorgeous, and provide a great swimming hole for visitors. Looking Glass Falls is just one of many waterfalls in the area.

It can be quite crowded in the summer, but people line up to take their turn and the line usually moves pretty fast. It's a blast!

For a lazier experience, hop on a tube and just float along on the river. It's nice and cool, and the scenery is beautiful.

The views from the summit are incredible - it's worth the hike.

You could spend days hiking here.
