This Magical Waterfall Campground In New York Is Unforgettable
New York, where beautiful waterfalls are almost always just a stone’s throw away. With the end of camping season sneaking up on us, we’ve been trying to sneak in as many weekend getaways as we possibly can. If you’re looking to find the ultimate camping location that has waterfalls, beautiful hiking trails, a swimming area, and gorgeous gorges, then we’ve found the next state park for you to cross off of your bucket list.
Pack your bags and grab the GPS, we’re headed to a magical waterfall campground in New York that’s simply unforgettable:
Waiting to be explored, you can find Robert H. Treman State Park out in Tompkins County.
Pictured above you can see the area of the Rim Trail that gives you an overlooking view of Lucifer Falls. At 115-feet, this waterfall is one every New Yorker should cross off of their bucket list.
Make your way to the lower area of the park and you'll discover the campground!
Camping out means you'll have more time to explore and appreciate this waterfall-filled state park. Camping season is currently going on now through November 19th.

Not far from the campground you'll find the designated swimming area of the park!
One of our favorite waterfalls to take a dip in, Enfield Falls is a popular place to cool off in during the summer. The designated area is lifeguarded, with swimming season going on now through September 5th!
Also right by where you'll be camping, a playground!
