Hometown Bakeshop in Centerport offers both sweet and savory baked goods and it's a great place to stop for lunch if, for some odd reason, you need a break from pie. However, be sure to get one of this spot's incredible pies for dessert.

In addition to pie, Kerber's also offers cooking lessons for all ages, a summer camp program, and accommodations if you want to stay at the farm. This shop is even older than Kerber's Farm; it existed as far back as the early 1800s. However, Jericho Cider Mill became famous for its pies after it started selling them in 1968. The pies Jericho Cider Mill sells today are still made using the original family recipe.
