Sonnenberg Gardens Is An Inexpensive Road Trip Destination In New York That’s Affordable
If you’re looking for an inexpensive and fun trip in New York, Sonnenberg Gardens makes for a wonderful afternoon outing! The 50-acre state park is in the Finger Lakes region and is made up of multiple gardens that have been beautifully restored. If you love botanical gardens, you won’t want to miss this one!

The gorgeous 40-room mansion is open for tours as well.

The greenhouses were built by Lord & Burnham, one of the most famous conservatory manufacturers of the 1800s. Very few Lord & Burnham greenhouses remain in the United States.
