Most of the time when we’re combing through the Adirondack Mountains, we’re attempting to find a trail to explore or some type of outdoor adventure to take on. After long days of exploring the mountains though, you’ll find yourself in need of a place to eat – that’s when delicious spots like P.F. McDougalls’ are useful to know about!

Right on the river in Essex County, P.F. McDougalls Pub sits right in the shadows of our state's tallest mountains.

Set within the small town of Wilmington right on the Ausable River, you'll have an unreal view of the water and mountains right from where you'll dine.

A place you'll visit time and time again once you come to discover it, this Adirondack pub has an 18-foot-long cherry bar that's a popular place to visit after a long day in the mountains.

Inside the pub, you'll find a spacious dining room that even has a fireplace that's been around for ages - even used during the 1930s and 1940s by locals to cook their trout that they caught in the river.

But today you'll find people inside P.F. McDougalls' chowing down on more than just fish, even though they do have amazing Fish Tacos and Fish and Chips here!

P.F. McDougalls has a variety of savory burgers that will blow you away like their Whiskey Peppercorn Burger, Adirondack Burger, and Cowboy Burger that are all wonderful to try.

While some may opt for things like their wings, soups, salads, or their Chipotle Bacon Mac & Cheese or Bistro Steak. There's so much to choose from.
