Nothing Says Fall Is Here More Than A Visit To Buffalo’s Charming Maple Farm
When fall rolls around, we may be quick to start inviting pumpkin flavored everything into our lives at the drop of a dime. But don’t let that distract you from New York’s other amazing fall flavors and the sweet aroma of maple syrup swirling around you in the air! Within just a stone’s throw of the Queen City, Buffalonians can find a variety of family-favorite maple farms that are worth making a trip to this fall. Each maple farm has something unique and delightful to offer visitors, but there’s one out in Wyoming County that actually has the world’s
widest variety of maple products! Let’s take a look.
Head just an hour east of Buffalo and before you know it, you'll be gazing upon the vibrant scenery that makes up the town of Attica and our favorite little maple farm.
With a history dating back to the 1870s, Merle Maple Farm has proven to be a family-favorite destination of Western New York.
Many of us make the trip out to Merle's for Maple Weekend during the month of March, but the farm stays open all year long for those of us craving our favorite maple treats.
Merle Maple Farm has become famous for having the world's widest selection of maple products - with their gift baskets featuring an array of goodies that will make your mouth water.
There are roughly 17,000 taps collecting the delicious syrup at this 400-acre family owned and operated maple farm.
Producing anywhere from 6,000 to 8,000 gallons of syrup each year, we love seeing what new and exciting products Merle's chooses to infuse maple into.
And if we were Pinnochio, our noses would grow eight times too big if we told you that we weren't thinking about Merle's maple cotton candy all throughout the year. It's the best!
Lining the shelves of Merle Maple Farm you'll find everything from maple hot sauce, mustard, bbq sauce, pancake batter, and apple butter...
...to classics like their maple gummy candies, hard candies, spreads, jelly, cheese, and even dog biscuits!
And Merle's is always pleasing our taste buds with new and exciting maple syrup flavors.
Merle's Blueberry Maple Syrup and Strawberry Maple Syrup are two products you'll see flying off the shelves.
Open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., come and get your maple fix this fall at Merle's Maple Farm in Attica.
Visiting Merle Maple Farm in Attica has become a fall tradition for most of us living in and around Buffalo. As a family-run business, we love revisiting this great-smelling destination to see the familiar faces of the Merle family.
Merle Maple Farm is located at 1884 Creek Rd., Attica, NY 14011. To find out more about the farm, you can visit their
