That being said, it should come as absolutely no surprise that apple picking is on our Buffalo autumn bucket list! With so many great places to choose from, it’s time to share the wealth with you! Here are our “picks” for the very best apple orchards near Buffalo.

Stonehill Orchard is located at 2356 Shirley Road in North Collins, just 35 minutes south of the city. This orchard is open Fridays in the fall from 9AM to 6PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10AM to 6PM. The picking season goes until the apples are gone – usually as early as late October!
Smith's Orchard is located in Niagara County at 4960 Mapleton Road in Lockport. They boast some of the best priced cider around, as well as reasonable prices for their u-pick apples at 85 cents per pound!
Apple picking at Becker Farms is truly an experience, with just $5 gaining you access to a hayride to the orchard, a 4 quart bag of apples, and educational insight as to where and how apples grow. Bonus: kids 2 and under are free! This is one of the most beautiful and best apple orchards near Buffalo and is located at 3724 Quaker Road in Gasport.
Blackman homestead is one of our personal favorite picks, and a visit here will prove why it's one of the best apple orchards near Buffalo! The homestead offers rows upon rows of apple trees of all different varieties, as well as plenty of autumn favorites like cider, hay bales, pumpkins, and gourds! Find it all at 4472 Thrall Road in Lockport.
We've mentioned our love for Sanger Farm before, and we're here to sing their praises again – this time, for apple picking! Sanger Farms offers apple and peach picking simultaneously. For the sweetest fall festivities you can imagine, head on out to experience it for yourself at 852 Lockport Street in Youngstown.
LynOaken Farms is located in one of our favorite Western New York towns, located at 10609 Ridge Road in Medina. The farm offers u-pick apples Monday through Friday from 10AM to 5PM and on weekends from 9AM-6PM. They also offer weekend wagon rides to the orchard and fresh cider donuts. Sign us up!
Baker Farm Market & U-Pick is located at 2100 Youngstown Lockport Road in Ransomville. They are open for apple picking on Monday through Friday from 10AM to 6PM and on weekends from 10AM to 5PM.
