Something that most everyone in the family can agree on, there’s nothing quite like spending the day outdoors getting an up-close view of some of your favorite animals. Lucky for those of us who get to call the Empire State home, New York actually has more wildlife parks than you may have imagined. Right out in Broome County, this one animal park in our state is one you’ll want to play a road trip to this year!
Less than a half-hour east of Binghamton, New York's Animal Adventure Park is perfect for visitors of all ages.
For an extra price, the Animal Adventure Park even offers a Sloth Encounter experience where you'll be able to hand-feed and visit with resident sloths.
With so many different species that call the Animal Adventure Park home, you can expect to see animals like black bears, zebras, horses, capybara, monkeys and lemurs...
For families that have never visited the Animal Adventure Park, here's what else you should know and can expect! The park does not allow visitors to bring any food inside, but they do have two different locations where you can grab something to eat. You'll also find a Welcome Center and Gift Shop here where you can shop around for AAP merchandise and stuffed animals to take home with you, you know instead of the real ones!
