Fans of waterfalls in New York are in heaven. We’ve got so many beautiful falls, including some of the most famous in the world. Niagara Falls, Kaaterskill Falls, Taughannock Falls: there’s some massive and gorgeous waterfalls to be seen in the Empire State. The Adirondack region mostly has smaller falls than some of our more towering ones, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth exploring. Next time you’ve got time for a day trip in New York, take a trip up to this beautiful area and check out some of the many smaller waterfalls there. We don’t have the time to name all the waterfalls in the Adirondacks, of course, but here are a few of our favorites:
