Behind this unassuming exterior is some of the best food you've had in the Land of Enchantment.

Many travelers on New Mexico State Route 554 may drive past this unique, family-run restaurant. El Farolito is only a few hundred square feet in size and features a small handful of tables inside this out-of-the-way restaurant.

Despite being small in size, you better come to this restaurant with an enormous appetite. The meals are large, filling, and packed with incredible, satisfying flavors.

You’ll be tempted to fill up on chips and salsa from this El Rito restaurant.

Most entrees are served with two sopapillas. You will love these fried pastries so much, be prepared to order extra.
