The Traditional Restaurant In New Mexico With The Most Enchanting Waterfall Patio

Casa de Benavidez in Albuquerque offers a charming outdoor dining experience with a waterfall and delicious Mexican and New Mexican cuisine.

Mexican food and New Mexican food is certainly plentiful in the Land of Enchantment. If you love the flavors of the Southwest, you're definitely in heaven here. We particularly love the long-standing, family-owned restaurants, and we recently found this little gem in Albuquerque that has a gorgeous patio with an enchanting waterfall. Check out Casa de Benavidez:

The Benavidez family got its start in the restaurant industry more than 50 years ago. When it was time to expand, they fell in love with this 100-year-old home that even had a partially-finished waterfall in the backyard. Today, Casa de Benavidez continues to be a little gem for Mexican and New Mexican food in Albuquerque.

The address of the restaurant is 8032 4th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.

The dining room here is comfortable and quaint, but you'll want to dine outdoors on the patio for the most enchanting experience.

You'll love the waterfalls cascading into the pretty pool below. This patio is a little oasis in the desert, and it's cool and shady.

The pool is full of fish happily swimming around. They add to the peaceful serenity of this lovely outdoor space.

You'll want to start your meal with an order of fresh guacamole and chips.

The Famous Sopaipilla Burger is one of the restaurant's long-standing traditions, and continues to be a menu favorite.

The fajitas are fresh and flavorful...

...and the chimichangas are delicious.

Of course, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you can't decide, order one of the combination platters, or build your own. You can order up to four entree items to create the perfect, customized meal for you.

What are you waiting for? This beautiful patio is the perfect spot for a meal with friends and family. Casa de Benavidez is open seven days a week.
