1. Frank’s Famous Chicken and Waffles (Albuquerque)
Any eatery with the word "famous" in its name has to be good, right?! Well, Frank’s doesn’t disappoint.
In addition to heavenly, homemade waffles, everything else on this menu is fantastic. The wings are particularly tasty. 3. Big D’s Downtown Dive (Roswell)
Touted as one of the absolute best restaurants in all of Roswell, the wings bring people in for miles.
The Bangkok wings—tossed in a tasty blend of garlic, lime, cilantro, soy, sriracha, sesame, and chipotle—give new meaning to Asian-Southwest fusion. These meaty, crispy wings are tremendous. Find them at 505 North Main Street in Roswell.
4. A.J.’s Wings (Portales)
This amazing wing place was started in 2013 as a food truck. Now, after only a few years, A.J.’s has opened its first restaurant.
These traditional bone-in wings come in so many yummy flavors. In addition to mild, medium, hot, and extra hot buffalo, A.J.’s offers paprikash, teriyaki, honey mustard, honey chipotle BBQ, Caribbean Jerk, mango habanero, and ghost pepper. 5. Golden Crown Panaderia (Albuquerque)
Chicken wings at a Mexican bakery? You bet! This charming eatery has much more than baked goods, but their baked goods are amazing, especially the green chile bread and blue corn pizza crust.

6. 575 Sports & Co. (Taos)
This sports bar serves amazing lunches, and dinners (and breakfasts), while visitors kick back and watch "the game" in a fun and relaxing environment.

This Mediterranean/African/Caribbean gem has plenty of mouthwatering and unique dishes.

This is a charming and tasty barbecue joint with some amazing margaritas and wonderful service.

A place with "wings" in its name ought to live up to it, don’t you think? Well, the 505 certainly does that.

This local, family-owned and operated restaurant serves fresh, delicious food quickly and with a smile.
