These 12 Charming Pumpkin Patches In New Jersey Are Picture Perfect For A Fall Day
Pumpkin picking is a popular autumn activity and there’s no shortage of patches in the Garden State. If you’re looking for fall fun that the whole family can enjoy, New Jersey is the place to be. Below, I’ve featured several pumpkin patches that offer more than just pumpkin picking, for a full day of excitement.

This farm is the ultimate autumn destination in Bergen County. They're big on family and have endless activities to enjoy. In addition to the pumpkin patch, they've got hayrides, an incredible farmers' market, petting zoo and activities like scarecrow making (9/21).

After making your way through their corn maze (an Atlantic County favorite since 1999), take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch. Then, try some of their fantastic fresh squeezed cider.

Find the perfect fall treat here! Go pumpkin picking, apple picking, or both. You'll also find a corn maze, barnyard, gem mining and live music every weekend until 10/29.

Fall season has started! That means pumpkin picking, hayrides, a 5-acre corn maze, giant slide and more.

They're big on apples at this orchard (unsurprisingly), offering a wide variety including Granny Smith, Gala and McIntosh. You'll also find a pumpkin patch, barnyard, corn maze, hay bale maze, fall festivals each weekend, children's programs, and a winery on-site.

A great spot for fresh donuts and cider, you can also pick your own pumpkins here. Weekend hayrides start on September 23rd.

A Jersey favorite, Alstede Farms has so much to offer. Pick your own corn, apples, potatoes, pumpkins and more! You'll also enjoy pony rides, hayrides, a moon bounce, nighttime corn mazes, frequent live entertainment and special events like a pumpkin pancake breakfast (10/29).

Home to the Great Pumpkin Festival, Heaven Hill Farm offers over 30 different activities from pumpkin picking to pony rides. Enjoy shows. obstacle courses, sand art, face painting, pig races, tether ball, barn animals, a hay maze and corn maze.

This berry patch (famous for its blueberries), also offers pumpkin picking in the fall. Check out the hayrides and corn maze and be sure to try a fresh, delicious pie while you're here.

This charming farm is a pleasant surprise in one of New Jersey's more urban areas. Just minutes from New York City, this farm offers a pumpkin patch, a haunted house, build your own scarecrow, a hay bale maze and paint your own pumpkin. On weekends, they also offer pony rides, free face painting and costumed characters.

While they may be best known for their sunflower fields, Donaldson Farms also offers pick your own pumpkins and apples. Fall fun also includes hayrides, pony rides, a 9-acre corn maze and farm animals. To see the sunflowers, take a weekend tour in-season. Visit on Harvest Weekends (9/23-9/24, 9/30-10/1, 10/7-10/8...) for music, vendors, face painting and more.

Head here on select dates for fresh farm-to-table dinners or any day to enjoy the delicious baked goods. During autumn months, enjoy a fire pit, barrel train rides, free hayrides, gem mining, a playground and pumpkin picking.
