When I set out on a quest for an epic day trip, I love to find a place where I can cross more than one destination off my wish list in one day. There are so many places offering fun fall activities and delicious autumn-accented treats in the state, it’s easy to put together a great Autumn day trip in NJ that the whole family will love. One perfect example is in the Somerville area, where we find a laid-back bakery that really pulls out all the stops for Autumn with a variety of treats with seasonal looks and flavors. From there, it is only a fifteen-minute drive to a local farm and pumpkin patch that is putting on one heck of a fall festival! There’s no wrong way to do fall in New Jersey, but this day trip might be one of the best.
