4 Incredible New Jersey Day Trips You Can Take By Train
I love a good road trip, but I definitely prefer being the passenger – at least some of the time. It’s nice to sit back, relax and take in the sights; these 4 trips let you do just that. All aboard for a day of fun!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Of course, you can always hop on a commuter train to almost anywhere in New Jersey – we have the largest commuter rail system in the United States in terms of track mileage (951 miles). But, I think I prefer these scenic excursions better. For more day trips in the Garden State, check out: Whitesbog Village, Sahara Sam’s Indoor Waterpark or this Fairy Garden.
