What are the prettiest beaches in New Jersey?

New Jersey offers an abundance of Mid-Atlantic splendor, and some of the most spectacular landscapes can be observed right on the coast. Along the state’s 130 miles of coastline you’ll found countless incredible beaches, but a handful are particularly adored by visitors. North Wildwood Beach is a fan favorite, and locals are enchanted by the landscape of Cape May Point State Park. Ocean Grove Beach is another site coveted for its beauty, and the aptly-named Sunset Beach is endlessly romantic. Fortunately, if you’re looking for New Jersey beaches, this helpful guide can help you select the perfect beach for your getaway.

What are the best beach towns in New Jersey?

Ocean City, famous for its boardwalk and family fun-geared atmosphere, has set a high standard for New Jersey beach towns. However, if you’re looking for the best sandy beach in New Jersey, you truly can’t go wrong with a visit to Island Beach State Park. Berkeley Township, which hosts this lovely park, is a charming beachfront community with super friendly residents and pine forests. If you’re looking for something smaller, check out Sea Bright.

What beaches have the clearest water in New Jersey?

Looking for the beach with the clearest water in New Jersey? You can find the crispest, bluest water in and around the state’s Blue Holes. While their beaches attract visitors for their incredible hues and beautiful scenery, these waterways are not ideal for swimmers – their temperatures can cause cramps or shock your muscles, and sudden changes in depth make these lakes particularly dangerous places to swim.
