New Hampshire is a great place to live and to visit. Even New Hampshirites can agree that sometimes living here feels more like a vacation. If you don’t feel that way often enough, perhaps it’s time for your very own “staycation.” Rather than packing into the car and visiting another state, consider staying right here and exploring a new part of home. This cabin, which feels clean and chic, is a great option at any time of year.
Head to the mountain town of Conway and you'll find one of our favorite little cabins in all of New England! Nestled in the woods, this cabin at the base of Cathedral Ledge in Echo Lake State Park is perfect for a family or friend getaway. And one big bonus is that dogs are allowed.
The cabin has three bedrooms with four beds as well as one super lovely bathroom. The cabin sleeps five, which is the perfect number of people to take on a fun weekend escape. The hope features windows in the entire front, which means lots of natural light.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need. This means, while there are restaurants and bars within a 10-minute drive you don't actually have to leave the cabin at all.
And taking the fun outside when it's warm is great. You can take in the view of Cathedral Ledge directly in front of the house, or close your eyes and enjoy the silence.
Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
