The Farm by the River Bed & Breakfast in North Conway offers the chance to escape from the every day without the added stress of dealing with booking a large hotel full of other vacationers. In fact, this little retreat has just one house to rent and it’s surrounded by the most beautiful scenery.
History lovers will especially love visiting the Farm by the River. The 70-acres of land here are the product of a land grant from King George III of England given to a local family back in 1771.
The land has been passed down within the same family for more than 230 years, which makes this the ultimate family-owned and operated establishment. That’s seven generations!
The farm is currently owned and run by Rick and Charlene, who have closed the inn to use the farmhouse as their private home and opened the Alpine Moose Cottage for rentals.
The cottage features four bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people. It’s perfect for a celebration among family and friends, including small weddings.
It can also be rented for simple staycations. We love the idea of disappearing to the farm to enjoy some peace and quiet. And the stables are one of our favorite aspects of the farm!
Tours and trips can also be booked. These are a great way to see the area and take in the breathtaking landscape of the more rural parts of North Conway.
