Hiking At Lockes Hill Trail In New Hampshire Is Like Entering A Fairytale
It might be the long winter and having to be inside for so long, but these days we just can’t get enough of the beautiful hikes throughout the state. Whether they’re more of walk near the coast, accessibly paved or more challenging routes up a mountain, there’s something for just about anyone in the Granite State. This one, with views across Lake Winnipesaukee is simple and features a surprisingly small elevation gain for such great visibility.
To find Lockes Hill Trail head to the Kimball Wildlife Forest in Gilford.
This 1.8-mile route leads through dense forest. The trail is well-maintained and fairly flat until you reach a short portion of incline leading up to the top.
